  • Hart County's largest City, Hartwell, is located just 5 minutes from the shores of Lake Hartwell. Hartwell is a charming historic town that boasts a wonderful artistic side all right in the heart of Downtown. Home to two live theatre production companies, a fine Arts Center, art galleries, and a live music venue every Saturday night, you can always catch a play, listen to music, take an art class and go shopping or antique hunting in Downtown Hartwell. Please go outside and walk the town. Enjoy the Historic Walking Tour and see the "behind the scenes" stories of many of the town's historic landmarks.
