  • Ray Stowers grew up in northern Elbert County about halfway between Elberton and Hartwell with deep roots in each county.  I attended school in Elbert County.  I chased girls in Hart County marrying Susan Spears almost 30 years ago on Valentine's Day.  I have a daughter from a previous marriage who is the Business Manager at The Medical Center of Elberton.  My granddaughter is studying to be a pediatrician, possibly specializing in being a pediatric surgeon.  I/we are huge supporters of law enforcement and our military.  Both of our families currently have people currently serving in both and retired from both.

Attached is the photo of me and my personal answer to Hartwell's traffic.
