DESCRIPTION:Don't miss the 41st Annual Lake Hartwell Dam Run.  This scenic run takes you over the dam with breathtaking views of Lake Hartwell!  5K & 10K distances available.  **NOTE: NO race day registration**  \n\nOne of GA's most scenic 5K road races.  Runners start in SC and run across the perfectly flat dam back to GA.  10K starts in GA and goes across the Savannah River Bridge and comes back across the dam to finish in GA.  Packet pick up begins at 7am on race day at Big Oaks Recreation Area behind the Corps of Engineers office on US 29.  Free parking and restrooms available. \n\nAWARDS: 5K/10K awards to M/F overall\, masters\, grandmasters.  3 deep in M/F age groups.\n\nBoth courses are USATF certified and are chip timed using an electronic timing system.
