\n\nElberton\, GA &ndash\; \;Encore Productions will be having auditions for a drama \;The Magician&rsquo\;s Nephew \;on \;Mon. Nov 17 \;and \;Tues. Nov 18 \;in the Elberton Arts Ctr \;located at 17 W. Church Street\, Elberton\, GA 30635. \; The directors are \;looking to cast adult men and women and youth boys and girls in this magical tale based on the novel by C.S. Lewis! \; All those wishing to audition should drop in between 6PM and 8PM on either date and be prepared to read excerpts from the script for Directors Craig Ely &\; Ken Little. \; No prepared monologues are needed. \; Those auditioning should be available during most evening hours from late \;Dec 2025 \;(excluding holidays) through the end of \;Feb 2026. \; No experience is necessary to audition! \; Please note that Encore Productions is a community theatre organization\, and all acting roles granted are strictly on a volunteer basis &ndash\; no paid roles are available. \;

\n \;\n\nShow Synopsis: \; \;Young Digory and his friend Polly\, through the use of magic rings created by Digory'\;s uncle\, set forth on a series of adventures through mythical kingdoms and enchanted lands. In their travels\, they encounter Queen Jadis and awaken her from her enchanted sleep\, unleashing the power of evil. Attempting to acquire the healing apple for Digory'\;s sick mother\, the heroic children unintentionally bring Jadis'\; evil into Narnia\, the new world which the great lion Aslan sings into existence. In this land of talking animals\, there are miraculous happenings as good battles against evil and Digory struggles to return home to cure his ailing mother. \;
