Dear Chamber of Commerce Members,
Â
I hope this email finds you well. We are writing to provide you with an important update regarding the recent communications from Liberty Marketing Company regarding the waterproof map project.
Â
It has come to our attention that Liberty Marketing Company continues to reach out to our members and local businesses using our Chamber of Commerce name. We want to reiterate that, while we would allow the proposed lake map in our Discover Hartwell Visitors Center upon its completion, we are not connected to this project in any way. As with other free publications provided in our visitor center that rely on advertising, we do not have control over its funding, development, or execution.
Â
We have taken steps to address this issue with Liberty Marketing Company again today, expressing our concerns and requesting more clarity in their communications with our members.
Â
While we have engaged with them and believe in the potential of this project, it's important to note that their actions might be perceived as misleading. We kindly ask you to exercise caution and discretion in your interactions with Liberty Marketing Company.
Â
If you have any questions or encounter any issues with them, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Your feedback is important in helping us navigate this situation, and we want to ensure that your experience with them is transparent and aligned with our community's best interests.
Â
We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Our goal is to maintain the trust and integrity of our Chamber of Commerce and its members.
Â
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns or questions.
Â
Warm regards,
Â
Amanda Brown
