A code red alert was posted from Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter, the shelter was over capacity. Twenty-five dogs needed out asap or drastic decisions would have to be made. Our community came together to save 25 lives that weekend.

Renee is lucky to be safe in a loving, committed foster home while she waits for her forever family. The very affectionate 10-month-old, 45-pound (maybe Shepherd mix) pup loves to give kisses, she is house/leash and crate trained. Renee is spayed, heartworm negative, micro chipped, up to date with vaccines and treated for parasites. She gets along with other dogs, cats and children, she is a wonderful companion. It truly takes an army of advocates to save the lives of shelter animals.
Thanks to a passionate supporter part of Renee's adoption fee is sponsored for an approved adopter.
If you think Renee is the right fit for your family, please fill out an application at harthumane.org, email hartcohumane@yahoo.com or call/text 706-436-0965. If you have time to share, volunteers are always needed and greatly appreciated.
