Smithsonian Voices & Votes Exhibit

Discover Hartwell and Hartwell Main Street are proud to host ?Voices and Votes: Democracy in America?, a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution, at the Hartwell Art Center from June 7th through July 19th.
This nationally touring exhibit explores the history of democracy in America and the power of everyday citizens to shape their communities, government, and future. Through interactive displays, historical stories, photographs, and thought-provoking conversations, visitors will experience how voting, civic engagement, protest, and public service have influenced our nation from its founding to today.
As one of only a select number of communities chosen to host the exhibition, Hartwell will welcome guests from across the region to experience this inspiring and educational opportunity. Alongside the exhibit, local programs, community conversations, and special events will celebrate the voices, stories, and civic spirit of Hart County.
Admission is free, and all are encouraged to visit, reflect, and engage in the ongoing story of American democracy.Smithsonian Voices & Votes ExhibitDate and Time
