• HCPOA Votes to Dissolve

    Last Thursday, November 6, 2025,

a quorum of your HCPOA Board of Directors met and voted unanimously in favor of something we've been discussing since at least May of this year: a motion to dissolve the Association.

The Board recognized HCPOA's original mission of resolving significant issues with the County's real property tax system has long since been completed, and challenges deepen each year with respect to replacing ourselves and dedicating the time and effort into providing purposeful programming. While we sought input and participation from membership throughout the year and with an eye toward continuing into 2026 and beyond as a going concern, garnering little to none, we decided to reflect on a job well done and facilitate an efficient winding up of operations.

At the Board's direction, the Vice Chairman drew up a Resolution of Dissolution effective December 31, 2025, which all Directors approved as we reconvened today to formally adopt the Resolution.

We're distributing this resolution to members via email blast and facebook as quickly as possible, as we have already canceled all recurring and upcoming automatic dues payments, and some of our members are inquiring about notices thereof arriving in their email inboxes. For those who inquired, we appreciate your concern and apologize for any inconvenience.
