The Hartwell Service League is busy organizing our annual Parade of Trees to be held November 12th-15th. This year, the trees will be back in the beautiful Hartwell Art Center on E. Howell St. We are excited to be participating in Girls Night Out, a special shopping night sponsored by Hartwell Main Street So please mark your calendars and bid on our trees!

Christmas Cookie Workship @Hartwell Art Center
Join us for a festive and fun Holiday Cookie Decorating Workshop where you'll uncover the sweet secrets of transforming baked goods into edible masterpieces! In this hands-on class, you'll learn essential techniques like perfecting royal icing consistency, mastering the art of flooding and piping, and using various tools to create stunning holiday designs. Whether you're a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, this workshop provides a welcoming environment to get creative. All supplies are included. Since space is limited, any cancelations must be received 14 days prior to the event to receive a refund.

Join us for a Community Movie Night! Let's kick off the Christmas season with the story of Jesus! Bring your blankets or chairs and watch ''King of Kings'' Bring a snack, lawn chairs or blankets and HYDRA will be selling water bottles and popcorn. We will be set up on the football field so we can be in a fenced in place for the kids to be able to safely run around in. You can also sit on bleachers if needed as well. We thank St Andrew's Episcopal, Impact, Sardis and Faith Lutheran Church for their sponsorship and making this possible for us to do! Please remember to leave the park cleaner than you found it! **On the upcoming week we will make inclement weather location changes if needed**

Lake Hartwell Voices - "The Heart of Christmas Joy"
LAKE HARTWELL VOICES presents ''The Heart of Christmas Joy'' Holiday Concert. Sunday, December 14 at 2:30 PM. First Baptist Church of Hartwell. The spirit of the season will come alive on Sunday afternoon as Lake Hartwell Voices, the region's community chorus, presents it's annual holiday concert. The program features a rich variety of holiday music from beloved carols and festive favorites to masterworks by Bach and Handel. The performance will take place in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church located at 81 E. Howell Street, Hartwell Georgia. Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted to support future concerts and programming.
