200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Lake Hartwell Yoga will be hosting a 200-hour yoga teacher training program starting February 1st, 2020. The curriculum for this program has been approved by Yoga Alliance and hours received will translate to registration with Yoga Alliance as a 200RYT (registered yoga teacher.) 

This program is for students wanting to deepen their practice and understanding of yoga and it's philosophy, history, and the practice of yoga. 

In this program, we will be discussing the Vedas, philosophy of yoga, limbs of yoga, and how the Vedas translate off the mat in modern-day life. You will learn practical applications for developing a classroom curriculum, tips on how to create a class plan, how to effectively hold a healing space for students, and how to guide students towards self-awareness. We will be studying human anatomy and pathophysiology, kinesiology, movement of the human body, and purpose of asana practice. 

Class size is limited to 10 students
