The Hart County Chamber of Commerce presents Strickland Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel as the December Member of the Month. As the final Member of the Month for the year, this recognition is especially meaningful as Strickland Funeral Home celebrates 50 years of service to our community. Knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and kind are just a few of the many words used to describe their team. They are known for being there for families during their most difficult moments, offering guidance, care, and comfort when it is needed most.
Founded in 1975 by Joseph A. “Joe” and Nell B. Strickland, the funeral home was built on a legacy of service that began in Hartwell decades earlier. Today, that legacy continues through the Strickland family and dedicated staff, who remain committed to providing a caring and experienced service in each family’s hour of need.

Oktoberfest Benefitting Hart Co Animal Rescue
Hartwell Marina along with Boat House Grill and Southern Hart Brewing Company are hosting an Oktoberfest event raising money for the Hart County Animal Rescue. Enjoy an October evening by the lake. Listen to music, eat some tasty food, pet costume contest, browse the different treasures the vendors have to offer and more. If you would like to be a vendor, please contact us. Fee is $20. All money goes to the Animal Rescue.
