Women in Business Brunch

The Hart County Chamber invites you to a Women in Business Series Brunch, Bloom Where You Are Planted: Cultivating Purpose, Growing Through Change, and Flourishing Right Where You Are, on November 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Hart County Adult Learning Center in Hartwell. This encouraging ladies only brunch features guest speaker Anna Strickland, founder and Chief Cultivator of Harper and Mary Strategies, who will share insights on purpose, change, and flourishing right where you are.

Some may know Anna. She served as Hart County’s Archway Professional for several years through the University of Georgia’s Archway Partnership before becoming the President and CEO of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce. Her career also includes time with the Georgia Agribusiness Council. In 2025, Anna launched Harper and Mary Strategies, a Comer-based consulting firm that combines her love of people and plants. The firm offers leadership and talent development through workshops, retreats, and coaching rooted in the Emergenetics assessment, along with native, pollinator-friendly landscape design drawn from her horticulture background. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in horticulture and a Certificate in Sustainable Landscape Design, and she has long lived by the motto “bloom where you are planted.” The firm is named for her two daughters, Harper Ann and Mary Elizabeth.

Designed to inspire and connect, this event offers a welcoming space for women to gather, learn from one another, and be encouraged by stories of growth, purpose, and resilience.
