Leadership Hart Applications Now Open for 2024-2025

The Hart County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that applications for the 2024-2025 Leadership Hart cohort are now available. This multi-month program is designed to cultivate leadership skills and provide a comprehensive understanding of the various areas of service within Hart County.

Participants in Leadership Hart will have the opportunity to learn from prominent community leaders and explore key facilities, including the College and Career Academy, Hartwell City Hall, Hartwell Dam, Hart County Courthouse, and more. The program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to make a meaningful impact in our community.

One of the highlights of the program is the final capstone project, where participants will work collaboratively to develop and implement a project that benefits the local community. This hands-on experience allows participants to apply their newly acquired skills in a practical setting, fostering teamwork and innovation.

"We are thrilled to now offer the Leadership Hart program every year going forward," said Ellen East, Co-Chair of the Leadership Hart Steering Committee. "This program has a proven track record of developing strong leaders who are passionate about making a difference in our community."

Leadership Hart is sponsored by the Hart County Chamber of Commerce and facilitated by local leaders, with curriculum and guidance provided by the JW Fanning Institute of Leadership Development at the University of Georgia.
