North Georgia Credit Union wishes to invite the community to join together in making a meaningful impact on local families this holiday season. Now through Monday, December 15, the Credit Union is holding a food drive to collect canned goods, non-perishable food items, and monetary donations to benefit the Hart County Food Pantry and the Flat Shoals Baptist Church Food Pantry.
Most-needed items include peanut butter, spaghetti, pasta sauce, canned chicken, canned tuna, hearty soups, beef stew, canned chili, and canned pasta. Physical donations may be placed in the designated boxes located inside the credit union lobby.
Monetary contributions are also welcome. Donors may make checks payable to Hart County Food Pantry or Flat Shoals Baptist Church Food Pantry. All funds collected will be delivered directly to the pantries at the end of the drive.
